Tomaš Juhás finished opera singing studies at State conservatory and University of musical arts (Štátne konzervatórium and Vysoká škola Muzických umení) in Bratislava at professor Robert Szúcs.

During his study at university he débuted in opera of Slovak national theatre (Slovenské národné divadlo) in Terence McNally’s play „Majstrovská lekcia Márie Callas“ in the role of Tony.

Afterwards the characters of Kudrjáš and Boris in Leoš Janášek’s opera „Káťa Kabanová“ followed, with whom he hosted at the opera of National theatre (Národné divadlo) in Brno.

Then he represented characters in operas of Giuseppe Verdi – Macbeth (Malcolm), Nabucco (Ismael), La Traviata (Alfredo), Donizetti’s – L’elisir d’amore (Nemoríno), Giacomo Puccini’s – La Boheme (Rodolfo), Turandot (Pong), Ruggiero Leoncavallo’s – Comedians (Peppe) and in Franz Lehár‘s extravaganza – The Merry Widow (Camill de Rossillon), Faust Ch.Gounod.

A significant role is a character of Lenský from the opera „Eugen Onegin“, in the conception of German stage director Peter Konwitchny.

Tomas Juhas is the finalist of world singer competition Iris Adami Corradetti 2007, which took place in Italian Padova. He took masterpiece courses at world-famous tenorist Sergej Larin.

On the foreign stages he presented himself in Janáček’s opera From the House of the Dead (Čerevin) in Paris L´Opéra Bastille and in Teatro Real in Madrid.

In Národné divadlo (National theatre) in Prague he hosted in opera La Traviata (Alfredo) and in Stavovské divadlo in Prague in Rudolf Karel’s opera Islein’s heart (Domino).

At the summer Openair festival in Swiss Solothurn he introduced himself in operas Turandot (Pong) and in Comedians (Peppe).

He performed at concerts in Netherlands, Switzerland and Austria in Vienna radio ORF and in Konzerthaus in Beethoven‘s 9th symphony.

He cooperated with conductors such as Marc Albrecht, Friedrich Heider,Stefan Lano, Ivan Anguevov, Giorgio Crocci,Vasary Tamas Ondrej Lenárd, Jaroslav Kyzlink, Oliver Dohnányi,  and prepare cooperation with Jiri Belohlavek,Jakub Hruša, Tomas Netopil,Kovacs Janos, Kocsis Zoltan and others.

His first CD recording is Beethoven‘s 9th symphony with Slovak philharmonic orchestra and conductor Chihiro Hayashi (Slovart Records).

In the year 2008 he sang in La Traviata Openair production in St. Margarethen in Austria as Alfredo Germont.

Budapest and Miskolc filharmonia-Budavari Tedeum with Kocsis Zoltan.

2015 he collaborated as cover in Metropolitan Opera in NY( Lenski- E.Onegin).
