Lidiya Svetozarova is the Principal Soloist of the Moscow Musical Theatre Helikon-Opera, renowned for her deep and expressive voice and compelling stage presence. Over the course of her distinguished career, she has appeared on leading opera and concert stages across Italy, Austria, Azerbaijan, Canada, Germany, Japan, Estonia, France, Thailand, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, while maintaining an active artistic schedule throughout Russia.

She has collaborated with many eminent conductors, among them Vladimir Fedoseyev, Marco Boemi, Fabio Mastrangelo, Felix Korobov, Alexander Sladkovsky, Ilmars Lapinsch, Luis Gorelik, Simone Fermani, Andrew-Lawrence King, Oleg Gaetani, Damian Iorio, Sergey Skripka, Evgeny Brazhnik, Valery Kiryanov, Konstantin Khvatynets, Timur Zangiev, Philipp Selivanov, Alexey Vereshchagin, Dejan Savic, Vladimir Ponkin, and Ivan Rudin. Ms Svetozarova has taken part in numerous international competitions and appeared in filmed opera productions such as La Traviata, Sadko, and Madama Butterfly, created for the Kultura TV channel, in which she sang leading roles.

In 2024, she participated in the grand opening of the Savva Arena in Belgrade – one of the world’s largest concert-and-theatre venues – performing the title role in Verdi’s Aida in a production by the Serbian National Theatre. Most recently, she took part in the filming of a new feature by director Aleksei Uchitel, with the premiere forthcoming. Lidiya Svetozarova is a Laureate of the Moscow City Award for outstanding achievements in the arts and literature and is a regular guest on programmes of the Kultura television channel.
